Mushishi

I started watching Mushishi (anime) last night. The manga is on my incredibly long list of manga I want to read some day.

I also have had the inkling to do some writing on my novel. Quick story; for a while in my life I wanted to be a novelist for a living, but I haven't written anything non blog/Twitter/forum related in about a year. I haven't willed myself back into it and don't think that I will.

I finished up Donnie Darko just a few days before I started this blog so I might just go ahead and review that tonight.

More on Reviews

So, as many of you who know my reviews on NooBTooB know, I tend to write fairly lengthy reviews. I will generally be relaxing this requirement a little bit, particularly for older games. For instance, I brought out the very first Warcraft game the other day and fired it up to beat it. It is, by today's standards, and incredibly dumbed down and primitive RTS. I won't be writing a long-assed review on this. On the other hand, something like Diablo has enough content to justify a longer review perhaps.

I must also say that I will be playing new games as they come out. There are a lot of games I have on preorder, and those will come before my older games for the period when they are brand new. These include games like Command & Conquer 4, the new Prince of Persia, Splinter cell: Conviction, StarCraft 2, and others. Oh yeah, and Final Fantasy XIII, which I am more psyched for than a sunset on the beach.

Just thought I'd let anyone how happens to read this know. Also, I am currently playing Warcraft, and Star Ocean: The Last Hope International, so those will probably be my first reviews.

Hello and Welcome

I'm too lazy to use Wordpress to do a blog, so I'm sticking with Blogger for now. As for the title, "Ramblings Part 2," I had a blog named "Ramblings" a few years back while in college.

You may be asking what this blog is, to which I will reply that this blog is anything. Video games, movies, music, random thoughts, politics, pretty much anything goes here. Having said that, there are some goals I have in mind:

1) Beat and review all of my...300? 350? 375? Somewhere in there, video/computer games.
2) Review every movie/anime I see starting today.
3) Post interesting shit.

I can't promise any of those, at all. For all I know, this blog will last a couple weeks; I'm a pretty lazy guy. Still, when Twitter's short character limit gets in my way I always feel like I am missing out on writing more. So here. I don't think you'll enjoy, but whatever.
