On Predisposition to Dislike One's Work

Spend enough time following the likes of various authors, artists, and other creative types on social media, and you will find that their lives are crucially filled by an inordinate amount of self-doubt. This self-doubt usually manifests itself in fears over the works they create, and any concurrent quality or lack thereof. One wonders, if, even given extravagant success, such creative types will always doubt the efficacy of their work.

One also finds that, given the complete and other lack of quality in the present author's creative endeavors, self-doubt, or self-criticism, or even self-hate, is well-backed by the reality of every work by said author being, in lacking another pejorative word, trash.
